Blue Linkia Starfish (Linckia laevigata) - Imported from Fiji, these inverts are very demanding on water quality. Only add to a well established reef tank with lots of live rock. High nitrate levels and pH swings will guarantee a quick death for these beautiful creatures. The one in the photo is approximately twelve inches with arms extended. At this size, one would think it would be a bull-dozer, dislodging corals continuously, but we have never experienced this in our reef.
